The core of the temperature-sensing cable consists of mutually insulated conductors. The insulation layer is made of special thermosensitive material. Under normal temperatures, the conductors remain insulated. When the temperature reaches the preset alarm threshold, the insulation layer undergoes rapid physical or chemical changes, causing the conductors to create a short circuit. The signal processor detects this and triggers a fire alarm.
